the sky in merida

This week I began teaching an intensive course. To the students’ detriment, the electricity went out several times. I guess this teaches us to “save.” In any case, during our class break, I went outside before the storms which caused the outages and looked up at the sky. The clouds were so impressionable, that on Thursday, I pulled out my camera to photograph them. Exquisite, sensual, enveloping, and filled with foreboding. With these clouds, who could send the storm away? They also remind us that the universe is a beautiful place, most especially in Yucatán. I love these clouds. I love the Yucatecan sky.
