normalcy returns

Video of the hurricane in Chetumal, Quintana Roo (where it first hit land).

In the south there was extensive damage to crops and homes. The poor areas are now even poorer because of this. Approximately 80% of the corn crop was lost in the south according to the Diario de Yucatán, the region’s paper. In the north of the state, everything is back to normal after hurricane dean. Just some high, but not hurricane, winds yesterday.
