You don’t want to be making mediocre stuff…We get into it because we’ve got really good taste. You’re taste is still killer even though you can tell it’s still sort of crappy. Watch the series of 4 interviews on youtube with Ira Glass from This American Life. 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 — With common pitfalls and all —- Very funny too. See Episode 3 – Everybody goes through that … You got to know it’s totally normal and the most important possible thing you can do is do a lot of work … do a huge volume of work. It’s only by actually going through a volume of work that you can actually catch up and close that gap.

I love Ira Glass.
