the honey cooperative
Raul Che Puc shares plans with the cooperative.

making honey sweets
Raul Che Puc and his wife Maria Policarpa (Polita) Dzib de Che show us how to make delicious sweets with honey.

Raul showing the hive of indigenous stingless bees
Raul shares with us his hives of indigenous stingless bees he is trying to rescue. These bees are scarce in the Yucatan. They make little honey throughout the year in comparison with other bees. These bees live inside the log, with a hole to enter and exit. If threatened by ants, three bees will block the entrance to the hole, thus sacrificing themselves for the community.
